Happy 4th of July! Let’s celebrate our great Country and keep fighting for our freedoms, freedom is not free and takes constant and consistent work to maintain.
July begins the Chamber’s new fiscal year. We begin with enthusiasm and excitement with all of the great events we have in store for you, the members. It is exciting to see the turnout at all of our events, thank you for your support.
The 25th Annual Golf Tournament is coming up on August 21st. It will take place at Sierra La Verne Country Club this year. We are looking for golfers, remember it is “best ball” so you don’t have to be a pro to play. We are looking for sponsors and raffle prizes. It is a great event to be part of and the turnout is always good. This year it has been decided to select one charity from our members who are nonprofit 501 c 3 s, to contribute some of the proceeds from the golf tournament. It will be a different (501 c 3) member each year. At the breakfast in July we will announce the winner of this place in the golf tournament.
The Installation Event was a huge success, thank you for your attendance, 73! Highest ever! The City gave us a nice write up in the weekly Manager’s Report, thank you. And thank you for your continuing support. The energy at that event was tremendous and we had members there who had never attended before, and they had nothing but nice things to say. Thank you to John’s Incredible Pizza Company for the great food (best salad bar in town) and the kind assistance for helping to set up and clean up.
The Breakfast meeting will be at Magdaleno’s Restaurant in July. They are closed for regular dining service now, but will do catering for business and private parties. The set up seems just right and we will give them a try. We are trying to spread out the events to recognize as many members as possible. So we may move the Breakfast from time to time. Keep reading your email blasts! See you at the Breakfast meeting!
